Volunteer Frequently Asked Questions

To sign up, please go to https://arminarm.givepulse.com/group/294989-Arm-In-Arm . You can create an account on GivePulse and Join our page or you can sign up for shifts as a guest. Please be sure to read our volunteer agreement before you sign up for a shift.  

  • Hudson Street: Please park on Tyler Steet. This is street parking, and you will need a temporary parking pass for your dashboard. When you arrive, please ask Alana Moonsammy for one.  
  • Mobile Pantries: 
    • Monday Mobile at Lawrence County Library: There is a parking lot at this location.   
    • Tuesday Mobile at 142 E. Hanover Street: Please park around the corner in the lot on 127 Academy Street (across from the Trenton Public library) 
    • Wednesday Mobile at Capital Health : Please park in the lot where the mobile truck is. 
  • Mill One: This location has a general parking lot and volunteers can enter through the A1 entrance (near the flagpole). Please contact the coordinator for that day to buzz you into the building. (Tuesday & Thursday: Alana and Friday & Saturday: Lianette)
  • Princeton: This location is in downtown Princeton where meter parking is available.  
  • Hudson Street: Please contact Alana Moonsammy at 609-477-8251

  • Mill One: Please contact Alana Moonsammy at 609-477-8251 on Tuesday and Thursday morning and Lianette at 609- on Fridays and Saturdays

If you need to cancel your shift, please let the coordinator or Shariq Marshall know at least 24 hours prior to your shift so we can fill the slot.  

Anyone can be a volunteer! If you are under 16 years old you will have to be accompanied by an adult. 

Please wear closed toed and comfortable shoes. Also, dress according to the weather as some mobile events are outdoors.  

Volunteers can be asked to do many different tasks including packing bags, restocking shelves, breaking down boxes, scanning QR codes, intake or registration and cleaning up the site. Please watch our volunteer videos to better understand what you will be asked to do at our different pantries.
