Part-Time Non-Profit Grants Writer/Manager (up to 24 hours/week)

Are you passionate about helping individuals and families in need through grant-writing and non-profit fundraising? Arm In Arm—a trusted community nonprofit serving Mercer County, NJ for 45 years—is seeking a part-time Development Grants Manager to play a vital role in advancing our mission. We fight food insecurity, provide homelessness prevention services and driver’s license restoration services, and empower thousands of families annually to thrive. We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Development Grants Manager to oversee the full grant lifecycle, from identifying funding opportunities to writing compelling proposals and managing grant reporting.

What You’ll Do:

Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support programs that prevent homelessness and combat food insecurity.
Research and craft compelling grant proposals to secure financial support from foundations, corporations, and government sources in support of our mission.
Manage the grant lifecycle, including submissions, tracking, reporting, and compliance.
Support donor relations and assist in crafting impactful communication materials like annual reports and fundraising appeals
Collaborate with a dynamic small team to develop fundraising strategies, donor communications, and community outreach materials.

Who You Are:

A skilled writer with a Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or related field (or 2-3 years of relevant experience).
Experienced in grant writing, fundraising, and non-profit donor relations.
Organized and proficient in grant management software (e.g., Donor Perfect).
A strong communicator and team player who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
Compassionate, culturally aware, and committed to serving diverse communities.
Passionate about community service and eager to make a direct impact on families in crisis.
