Volunteer FAQ
To sign up, please go to our Give Pulse Page. You can create an account on GivePulse and “Join” our page or you can sign up for shifts as a guest. - Hudson Pantry: 48 Hudson Street, Trenton NJ 08609
- Mobile Pantries:
- Monday Mobile: 2751 Brunswick Pike Place, Lawrence Township NJ 08648 (Mercer County Library-Lawrence Headquarters)
- Tuesday Mobile: 142 E Hanover Street, Trenton 08609 (Trenton Meeting of Friends)
- Wednesday Mobile: 1st and 3rd Wednesday located at 601 Hamilton Ave, Trenton 08629 AND 2nd and 4th Wednesday located at 434 Bellevue Ave, Trenton 08618
- Mill One: 1 N. Johnston Ave, Hamilton NJ 08609 (A1 entry)
- Princeton: 61 Nassau Street, Princeton NJ 08542 (basement of Nassau Presbyterian Church)
- Hudson Street: Please park on Tyler Steet. This is street parking, and you will need a temporary parking pass for your dashboard. When you arrive, please ask Alana Moonsammy for one.
- Mobile Pantries:
- Monday Mobile at Lawrence County Library: There is a parking lot at this location.
- Tuesday Mobile at 142 E. Hanover Street: Please park around the corner in the lot on 127 Academy Street (across from the Trenton Public library)
- Wednesday Mobile at Capital Health : Please park in the lot where the mobile truck is.
- Mill One: This location has a general parking lot and volunteers can enter through the A1 entrance (near the flagpole). Please contact the coordinator for that day to buzz you into the building. (Tuesday & Thursday: Alana and Friday & Saturday: Lianette)
- Princeton: This location is in downtown Princeton where meter parking is available.
- Hudson Street: Please contact Alana Moonsammy at 609-477-8251

You can cancel your shift on GivePulse. If you would like instructions on how to cancel a shift please click here. You can also let the coordinator or Shariq Marshall know at least 24 hours prior to your shift so we can fill the slot.

Anyone can be a volunteer! Food pantry volunteers ages 8 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult while volunteering at our 3 sites. If volunteers are over the age of 16 they do not need to be accompanied by an adult.
Please wear closed toed and comfortable shoes. Also, dress according to the weather as some mobile events are outdoors.
Volunteers can be asked to do many different tasks including packing bags, restocking shelves, breaking down boxes, scanning QR codes, intake or registration and cleaning up the site. Please watch our volunteer videos to better understand what you will be asked to do at our different pantries.
