Arm In Arm is honored to have been awarded a $25,000 grant from Novo Nordisk in support of our Hunger Prevention Program. This generous funding will have a profound impact on our ability to serve our neighbors in need facing food insecurity throughout Mercer County.
Novo Nordisk’s leadership in health and nutrition makes this award especially meaningful, and their funding supports our ability to operate with a budget that allows for more fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and dairy at our food pantries and Mobile Pantry sites. This not only addresses poverty as a social determinant of health, it improves equitable access to nutritious foods in food deserts and traditionally underserved neighborhoods.
Thank you, Novo Nordisk, for your commitment to our mission and our clients. By addressing both immediate needs and long-term wellness, we’re working together to create a healthier, more resilient community.
