Arm In Arm Receives 2025 Empowerment Grant from The Provident Bank Foundation

Arm In Arm is thrilled to receive a two-year Empowerment Grant from The Provident Bank Foundation. This grant will help support our Hunger Prevention Program and our mission to equitably address food insecurity across Mercer County, NJ.

The Empowerment Grant program, PBF’s core funding opportunity, is designed to strengthen the capacity and sustainability of high-impact nonprofits serving communities across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Grant partners are selected for two years of flexible funding support based on their proven ability to deliver meaningful, measurable change within the Foundation’s priority areas: Education, Human Services, and Workforce Development.

The grant will specifically help low-income neighbors who struggle to feed their families. With this funding, Arm In Arm anticipates directly impacting the food security of 1,000 families, or approximately 2,500 individual Mercer County neighbors in each of the next two years.

“The Empowerment Grant embodies our commitment to investing in organizations that are creating long-term, transformative change,” said Samantha Plotino, Vice President and Executive Director of The Provident Bank Foundation. “We are proud to support Arm In Arm in their efforts eradicate hunger in Mercer County.”
