Arm In Arm Honors Celebrates Inaugural “Partners In Hope” Honorees at Annual Spring Benefit

Mercer County, NJ — Arm In Arm is proud to announce that Johnson & Johnson will be honored as the inaugural recipient of its Partner in Hope Award at the 2026 Spring Benefit, Foundations of Hope. The benefit will be held on Thursday, April 23rd at the Social Profit Center at Mill One, where Arm In Arm is headquartered. This new annual award recognizes organizations whose values, leadership and partnership embody the heart of Arm In Arm’s mission to ensure food, housing, and stability for families across Mercer County.

For more than a decade, Johnson & Johnson (J&J) has stood beside Arm In Arm as a steadfast partner, advancing the organization’s impact through financial support, volunteer engagement and exceptional board leadership. J&J’s commitment to the community has strengthened Arm In Arm’s programs and the organization’s capacity to serve Mercer County neighbors in need.

Over the past ten years, this partnership has supported extraordinary impact at Arm In Arm, including:

  • 356,147 food pantry visits, mobile pantry visits, and grocery deliveries to elderly and infirmed clients, providing nutritious food for thousands of local families
  • 4,282 households prevented from homelessness through rental, mortgage, utility, and security deposit assistance
  • 150 vulnerable clients received Representative Payee services, ensuring household stability
  • 430 individuals regained their driver’s licenses through the License to Succeed program, opening the door to higher paying employment opportunities
  • 250+ homeless families received emergency crisis care

“Johnson & Johnson has modeled what it means to show up for neighbors with compassion, consistency, and purpose,” said Maureen Hunt, Executive Director of Arm In Arm. “We can think of no more fitting inaugural honoree.”

This year’s benefit also coincides with Volunteer Appreciation Week, and Arm In Arm will honor two extraordinary board members whose leadership has guided Arm In Arm through a defining era: Elizabeth Koehler and Sallye Zink. During their tenure, Arm In Arm doubled the number of families they served, improved the nutritional quality of the food they provided to clients, and transitioned to a new headquarters that improved their capacity and supported the expansion of their Mobile Pantry.

Arm In Arm’s annual Spring Benefit is an evening that brings community partners, supporters and volunteers together to strengthen the agency’s mission through education and fundraising. This year’s theme, Foundations of Hope, celebrates the essential building blocks that allow individuals and families to move forward: food, housing, supportive systems, community, and family.
