Court Ordered Community Service

Court Ordered Community Service Volunteer Guidelines

Arm In Arm accepts court-appointed volunteers with the exception of individuals whose offenses include, but are not limited to: felony convictions, assault, battery, possession of drugs or drug paraphernalia, child endangerment, or domestic violence.

Before beginning any community service hours, each court-appointed volunteer must provide the following:

  • A valid photo ID
  • A court-issued judgment or order that clearly states: court address, probation officer name and contact information, number of hours required, completion deadline, and written court disclosure of the offense
  • A completed and signed Arm In Arm Volunteer Agreement

Court-ordered community service hours are limited to 40 hours per applicant per year, unless extenuating circumstances are reviewed and approved by Arm In Arm.

Arm In Arm reserves the right to terminate a community service volunteer’s placement at any time if the volunteer fails to adhere to the Volunteer Agreement, engages in disruptive behavior, or negatively impacts Arm In Arm staff, volunteers, property, or community members.

All requests and documentation must be submitted in writing via email to volunteer@arminarm.org.
