Why It Matters

There are more than 100 homeless families in the Trenton School System who are in crisis and we are working with the Trenton Board of Education to help meet their immediate needs– food is critical to this effort.

Locally, 13.2% of children in Mercer County are food insecure. While they may access food at school, when they come home resources are often scarce and these children are at a great risk of going hungry.

You can be the reason a child has a full plate.
Together, we can ensure that no child in our community is left behind.
