Arm In Arm is deeply grateful to the Corella & Bertram F. Bonner Foundation for their steadfast support of our Hunger Prevention Program.
The Foundation’s Crisis Ministry Grant award of $80,000 will support the purchase of fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy products and healthy pantry staples that will stock our pantry shelves and be distributed through our Mobile Pantry Program. It will also support the procurement and distribution of the in-kind food donations we rely on and strengthen our Mobile Pantry Program as it travels across Mercer County to reach residents in need of food assistance.
As more low-income families turn to Arm In Arm for food assistance, this grant funding will help to ensure they arrive at our pantry sites to find the shelves stocked with nutritious food and that our Mobile Pantry service can reliably reach those who need us. We extend our sincere thanks to the Bonner Foundation for its enduring commitment to hunger prevention and for helping provide nutritious food to our Mercer County neighbors in need.
