Arm In Arm is incredibly grateful to the Northfield Bank Foundation for, once again, choosing to support our Hunger Prevention program with a grant of $15,000. With this impactful funding, we are able to provide healthy food, including fresh produce, dairy, and meats to food insecure individuals and families in the community. We continue to see great need in our community– inflation and the rising cost of food have put increased pressure on families who were already struggling, resulting in a level of service that is more than double pre-pandemic numbers. Arm In Arm is averaging 4,000 pantry visits and deliveries per month. Our ability to offer nutritious food and fresh produce to our clients has been greatly enhanced with Northfield Bank Foundation support. Together, we are caring for neighbors in need with the compassion, dignity, and respect that we all deserve.
Northfield Bank Vice President and Branch Manager, Marie Bardzilowski, visited Arm In Arm’s Mill One Food Distribution Center to deliver the grant check.
