Calder-Burgam-headshot_optimizedCalder Burgam – Community Engagement Coordinator

Calder first joined Arm In Arm as a regular volunteer at the Hanover Street pantry. Having moved to Princeton to join his fiancé as she began graduate school at Westminster Choir College, he was excited to find a welcoming community at Arm In Arm. Calder has spent his career at nonprofit organizations, last working at FollowTheMoney.org conducting research and helping academics, advocates, and journalists use campaign finance data to improve government accountability. He received his BA from Kalamazoo College in Political Science and Economics.

“I am thrilled to join Arm In Arm as the organization’s Community Engagement Coordinator. Over the past 38 years, Arm In Arm has only been able to help our neighbors in need through consistent support from caring individuals and organizations sharing their time, finances, and food. I look forward to building on that collaborative spirit so that we can continue to make our community better together.”

Shariq-Marshall-headshot_OptimizedShariq Marshall – Operations & Volunteer Coordinator

Shariq Marshall started at Arm In Arm in November 2018 after graduating from Rider University with a BA in Public Relations. “I was taught growing up that someone’s situation is always worse than yours, so be grateful and give back if you can. I’ve always had a passion for service and the community. I’ve tutored and mentored students in the past and was also a Community Impact Intern for the Bonner Community Scholar program at Rider, which furthered my knowledge of non-profits and social services. Since being here at Arm In Arm, I am learning what it truly means to give back. I look forward to embodying the Arm In Arm mission and being able to make a difference in the community.”
